Ceramic coating & sealing

Carnauba wax, nano polymer or glass-ceramic sealing that protects paint against UV, road salt, tar and tree resin for up to 36 months.

  • Wax, nano or glass-ceramic
  • Up to 36 months of protection
  • Rain-repellent windscreen coating (Level 3)
  • Water repellency and self-cleaning effect

After decontamination or polishing, the cleaned surface of your car is smooth but unprotected. Paint sealing forms a protective layer between your car’s clear coat and environmental contamination such as tree resin, rust film, tar, UV radiation and road salt.

The advantages of a paint sealant

  • Long and good protection from external influences
  • Minimal maintenance
  • Excellent water repellency and self-cleaning effect
  • A deep shine
  • Extended cleaning cycles and an easy-to-clean surface

The aftercare for each type of sealant influences its durability and service life.

3 levels and options

Choose between three sealing levels

Three types of sealant, from a traditional wax to a multi-layer ceramic coating.

Level 1

Wax sealing

Basic carnauba wax protection

CHF 160

per hour

Holding period
up to 6 months
Small vehicle
approx. 3 hours
Large vehicle
approx. 5 hours

Request this level

A carnauba wax applied for basic protection. This natural wax comes from the Brazilian carnauba palm and forms a layer from which water and dirt bead off, with unrivalled depth and a natural shine that builds with each coat.

What you get

  • Carnauba wax applied for basic protection
  • Natural shine that is enhanced with subsequent coats
  • Holding period of 2 to 6 months; low protection against damage

Recommended for

All types of paint, especially classic cars and single-stage (1-coat) finishes. The holding time is up to 6 months in normal use, or up to a year for properly stored vehicles in an optimal climate that are hardly moved.

Level 2

Nano sealing

Polymer-based nano sealant

CHF 170

per hour

Holding period
up to 12 months
Small vehicle
approx. 4 hours
Large vehicle
approx. 6 hours

Request this level

A synthetic, mainly polymer-based sealant, created to offer more options and more durability than natural wax.

What you get

  • Nano or polymer sealing applied to the cleaned paint
  • Up to 12 months in normal use
  • Up to 2 years for vehicles kept in an optimal climate, for example in a collection, and almost never moved

Recommended for

All modern two-coat paint types, including classic cars, especially everyday cars and customers who want a long-lasting seal.

Level 3

Ceramic sealing

Glass-ceramic sealant with a chemical bond

CHF 180

per hour

Holding period
up to 36 months
Small vehicle
approx. 6 hours
Large vehicle
approx. 10 hours

Request this level

Like nano sealing, ceramic sealants are produced at molecular level. The coating forms a chemical bond with the paint instead of lying on top of it, which makes it the strongest protection of all sealants for your paint.

What you get

  • Glass-ceramic coating bonded chemically to the paint
  • Up to 36 months or 50,000 km; protection increases with each additional layer
  • With several layers the service life can extend to 70,000 km
  • Windscreen coated with a rain-repellent layer that bonds chemically with the glass

Recommended for

Customers who want maximum protection but no PPF, and all modern two-coat paint types, especially everyday cars and customers who want a long-lasting seal. Not suitable for older coatings and generally not for single-coat finishes, and elaborate to remove.

FAQ

Sealing: frequently asked questions

What is sealing?

After decontamination or polishing, the cleaned surface of your car is smooth but unprotected. Paint sealing is used as a protective layer between your car’s clear coat and environmental contamination such as tree resin, rust film, tar, UV radiation and road salt.

What are the differences between the types of sealing?

You can choose between three types.

Carnauba wax is a natural wax that forms a protective layer from which water and dirt bead off. It lasts 2 to 6 months and offers low protection against damage.

Polymer or nano sealing is a synthetic, mainly polymer-based product that lasts up to 1 year in normal use, or up to 2 years for vehicles kept in an optimal climate and almost never moved.

Glass-ceramic sealing forms a chemical bond with the paint and is the strongest protection of all sealants, lasting up to 36 months or 50,000 km. Protection increases with each layer. It is not suitable for older coatings and generally not for single-coat finishes, and it is elaborate to remove.

What is the best sealing if I do not want PPF?

For customers who want maximum protection but no PPF, the Level 3 ceramic seal gives the best protection. With multiple coats its service life can be extended to 70,000 km.

What are the benefits of a paint sealant?

Long and good protection from external influences, minimal maintenance, excellent water repellency and self-cleaning effect, a deep shine, extended cleaning cycles and an easy-to-clean surface.

Does aftercare matter?

Yes. The aftercare for each type of sealant influences its durability and service life.
